Failure to follow proper use instructions including observance of pre-harvest intervals, re-entry periods, persistence information or the wrong class of chemicals for either food on non food crops has greatly contributed to chemical exposure through traces in produce, in the soil, water bodies. Further, failure to use the right personal protective equipment (PPEs) or wrong disposal of chemical containers has also continued to pose a risk through direct exposure to the users and animals.
