Answer

Food safety

Does the use of pesticides in our farms compromise food safety?

Feedback / Answer

Pesticides are extensively tested and regulated to ensure food safety for all. When used responsibly, they protect crops from pests and diseases while maintaining a reliable food supply without compromising human health. In Kenya, regulatory agencies such as the Pest Control Products Board (PCPB) and the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) strictly monitor pesticide use to safeguard public health.
